Hello, I'm Binit.

I work in analytics at eBay, and have done for a long time in a few different shapes of role: product analytics for the classifieds business, business performance for UK finance, and most recently leading global seller CRM Analytics. Different angles on the same underlying question, which is what the numbers actually say and what the org chooses to do about it.

Outside work, I write, mostly to think things through. The themes that keep coming back are analytics infrastructure, how big businesses actually measure themselves, and the slow-burning question of what AI does to all of that when the regulators catch up. I also tinker with a few side projects, including community work for the UK Nepali diaspora.
